Caredex ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our iOS mobile application ("App"). Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of the App.
Caredex is designed with privacy at its core. All care data — medications, appointments, routines, timelines, and caregiver information — is stored locally on your device and in your private iCloud account. We do not operate servers that store your care data.

Caredex uses Apple's iCloud to sync care data between your devices and with invited caregivers. This data is governed by Apple's iCloud terms and privacy policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data.
Your care data is protected by iOS device encryption and iCloud encryption. Face ID is used to protect access to admin functions within the app. Since we don't store your care data on our servers, there is no centralized database to breach.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we may have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us.
Since your care data is stored locally and in your private iCloud, you have full control over it at all times. You can delete all app data by removing the app from your device and clearing iCloud storage.
For any data we may hold from support communications, you may request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us at support@caredex.app. We will respond within 30 days.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
